Application
\n<\/strong>The measuring axle is a sensor used for overload monitoring in cranes.
It is particularly suitable for retrofit installation.<\/p>\n

Construction
\n<\/strong>The measuring axle is made of stainless steel and is designed for the operating conditions encountered in harsh industrial environments.<\/p>\n

Function
\n<\/strong>The measuring axle operates according to the principle of shear stress measurement (shear force measurement).
As a result, its measuring accuracy is only slightly influenced by transverse, lateral, shear, or torsional forces.
\nIt can be subjected to either tension or compression.
The shape of the measuring axle allows it to be used, for example, in sheaves, winches, and similar applications.
\nIts main field of application is in cranes and general mechanical engineering.
\nDue to its design, the measuring axle is aligned during installation in the direction of the resulting force. For example, an existing axle can be replaced by this measuring axle, allowing the force acting on the axle to be measured via the integrated strain gauges.
\nThe sensor is therefore ideally suited for use in overload monitoring systems.<\/p>\n
