The full bridge also increases the sensitivity<br \/>\nand the temperature performance of strain measurement.<\/p>\n<p>A rotor mounted ultra-miniature microcontroller measures the\u00a0strain gauge bridge and transfers the information back to the\u00a0stator digitally eliminating any noise pickup usually associated\u00a0with slip ring and other analog methods of transferring torque\u00a0data from rotor to stator. External noise pickup into the gauge\u00a0wiring is virtually eliminated due to the short distance between\u00a0the strain gauge elements and the rotors measuring circuits.<\/p>\n<p>A multipoint calibration method reduces any linearity errors\u00a0within the sensor.
