The full bridge helps to diminish errors\u00a0from any off-axis forces that are sometimes unintentionally\u00a0applied to the transducer in some test setups. The\u00a0full bridge also increases the sensitivity and the temperature\u00a0performance of strain measurement.<\/p>\n<p>A rotor mounted ultra-miniature microcontroller\u00a0measures the strain gauge bridge and transfers the\u00a0information back to the stator digitally eliminating any\u00a0noise pickup usually associated with slip ring and other\u00a0analog methods of transferring torque data from rotor\u00a0to stator. External noise pickup into the gauge wiring is\u00a0virtually eliminated due to the short distance between\u00a0the strain gauge elements and the rotors measuring\u00a0circuits.<\/p>\n<p>A multipoint calibration method reduces any linearity\u00a0errors within the sensor.
