They are suitable for\u00a0torque measuring, testing, feedback control of drive\u00a0mechanisms and process control applications. The full\u00a0bridge also increases the sensitivity and the temperature<br \/>\nperformance of strain measurement.<\/p>\n<p>A rotor mounted ultra-miniature microcontroller\u00a0measures the strain gauge bridge and transfers the\u00a0information back to the stator digitally eliminating any\u00a0noise pickup usually associated with slip ring and other\u00a0analog methods of transferring torque data from rotor\u00a0to stator. External noise pickup into the gauge wiring is\u00a0virtually eliminated due to the short distance between\u00a0the strain gauge elements and the rotors measuring\u00a0circuits.<\/p>\n<p>A multipoint calibration method reduces any linearity\u00a0errors within the sensor.
