The\u00a0 load cell 1510 was developed for applications in harsh industrial environments where aggressive chemicals may be present or there may be high humidity.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Due to its extreme torsional rigidity, the 1510 is also ideally suited to measurement of dynamic signals.
\nWith its simple mechanical design and large mounting surfaces you can quickly and easily development a large platform scale.<\/p>\n

The typical applications include belt weighing, check weighing and bag filling. Other applications also include overhead rail weighing, dispensing and pallet scales as well as\u00a0 industrial applications, such as the overload protection of lifting devices used in the handling and conveying of paper and steel products.The Model 1510 is manufactured using an optimised complex machining process. This ensures that there will be no measurement error when the load is placed off centre, eg in a corner of a platform.
\nA platform scale can easily be constructed using this load cell. You simply have to mount the load cell between two steel or aluminium plates up to 600 mm square, securing the bottom plate to the threaded holes in the underside of the load cell (cable entry end) and the top plate to the threaded holes on the upper face (opposite cable entry end). The load cell then has to connected to a suitable display or readout.<\/p>\n

The 1510 platform load cell can be supplied with an optional\u00a0 ATEX II 1GD EEx ia IIC T6 certificate for use in hazardous gas and dust areas \u2013 Zone 0,1, 2 & Zone 20, 21, 22.
\nThe 1510 load cell is fitted with a 6 core shielded cable as standard. Special cables and lengths are available on request.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
