The\u00a0stainless steel shear beam load cell, model SB14 is hermetically sealed by welding and is available in capacities from 227 kg (500 lbs) to 4536 kg (10,000 lbs). The T end option of this load cell is specifically designed to be used with a range of self aligning feet making them ideally suited to platform applications. The range of feet include height adjustable, flange and food grade options. The standard part plain, part threaded loading hole is also available.<\/p>\n

Typical applications include large platform scales, container, silo and belt weighing as well as force and torque measurements in the test and process industries. Approved to OIML R60 3000D and sealed to IP68, this load cell gives extremely accurate reproducible results, over a long term even in harsh industrial environments.<\/p>\n

For multi-cell application such as a platform, the SB14 being current matched as standard, removes the need for corner load adjustment using potentiometers. You can even replace a single load cell without the need for re-calibration<\/p>\n

The SB14\u00a0shear beam load cell\u00a0<\/a>can be supplied with an optional\u00a0 ATEX approval for use in hazardous gas and dust areas \u2013 Zone 0,1, 2 & Zone 20, 21, 22.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
