The stainless steel\u00a0 load cell model 620 belongs to the S type group of load cells. Transducers of this type are symmetrical and have threaded holes top and bottom to introduce the load which can either be in\u00a0tension or compression<\/a>.
\nThe 620 is constructed from stainless steel and is hermetically sealed to IP68. This makes it particularly suitable for application in the food industry where there are aggressive cleaning agents or in hostile outdoor applications.<\/p>\n

Because of their good dynamic performance and their symmetrical design, S-shaped load cells also very often used as a force transducer.
\nTypical applications include force measurements, material testing and the monitoring of cable tension in lift and cranes to prevent overload. Other applications include torque measurements on engines (dynamometer), transmissions and power brakes,<\/p>\n

Because of its compact design the\u00a0S type load cell<\/a>\u00a0can be manufactured cost effectively and offers a real alternative to the traditional more expensive\u00a0force transducers<\/a>.
\nThe 620 load cell is fitted with a 6 core shielded cable as standard. Special cables and lengths are available on request.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
