Load cell – pancake KMC230<\/h2>\n

Robust load cell for high forces up to 500 kN<\/h2>\n

The KMC230 series is a\u00a0load cell<\/a>\u2014also known as a pancake or compression disk\u2014designed for compressive forces up to 500 kN. Its robust design and the defined force introduction via an M40 thread ensure stable and precise force transmission.<\/p>\n

Despite its high rated force, the KMC230 features a comparatively low overall height of only 60 mm, making it easy to integrate into machines and systems. The corrosion-protected measuring element made of nickel-plated steel is equipped with a full Wheatstone strain gauge bridge. Linearity is max. 0.05%, hysteresis max. 0.03%, and repeatability max. 0.03% of full scale.<\/p>\n

As standard, each KMC230 is supplied with a test report confirming the accuracy of the measurement results. A shielded 6 m cable ensures reliable signal transmission, even over longer distances. With protection class IP66, the KMC230 is reliably protected against dust and water jets.<\/p>\n

Typical applications include presses, test rigs, vehicle scales, large tank scales, and other industrial environments where high compressive forces occur.<\/p>\n

Compared to many standard pancake load cells, the KMC230 stands out through its combination of high rated force, robust construction, low-profile design, and reliable protection class.<\/p>\n
