The Strain transducer is screwed on the component making a positive connection between the extensometer and the object. Under mechanical stress on the target construction caused strains and sprains. The sensor is simply srewed onto the component and convert the deformation on the fix platen, which is proportional to the length change, into an electrical output signal.<\/p>\n<p>The strain transmitter have stainless steel construction and meets the requirements of protection class IP65. The strain transducer has been designed for applications in which there is a need to measure the deformation due to external forces acting on an existing component. Due to the small space requirements and the easy installation, the T10N are ideal for retrofitting a force measurement and load monitoring<\/p>\n<h4>Typical Application<\/h4>\n<p>Measuring of small strain on stiff structures, Load or weight measurement on supports, Surface Strain sensors measure<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>indirectly<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>the Clamping Force on die casting machines,\u00a0Injection molding machines. Monitoring of\u00a0 Presses, Stamping machines, Structural steelwork, cranes, racks, loading cranes and bridges<\/p>\n<h4>Features<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Stainless steel construction<\/li>\n<li>Capacity: 100 &#8211; 200 kg<\/li>\n<li>Protection class: IP 65<\/li>\n<li>Design: the strain gauge application is potted<\/li>\n<li>Mounting: Lug with drill-holes on both sides<\/li>\n<li>Very flat construction<\/li>\n<li>Particularly robust for heavy duty industrial use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Mounting<\/h4>\n<p>The installation is done quite simply by screwing the sensor on machined surfaces.
