FC23 Compression Load Cell
The FC23 is a high compression force sensor thatcreates new markets previously unrealizable due to costand performance constraints. The FC23 offers normalizedzero and span for interchangeability and is thermallycompensated for changes in zero and span with respect totemperature.The FC23 incorporates MEAS’ proprietaryMicrofused™ technology which employs micromachinedsilicon piezoresistive strain gages fused with hightemperature glass to a high performance stainless steelsubstrate. Microfused™ technology eliminates agesensitiveorganic epoxies used in traditional load celldesigns providing excellent long-term span and zerostability. The FC23 measures direct force and is thereforenot subject to lead-die fatigue failure common withcompetitive designs which use a pressure capsuleembedded within a silicone gel-filled cavity. Operating atvery low strains, Microfused™ technology provides anessentially unlimited cycle life expectancy, superiorresolution, and high over-range capabilities.The FC23 brings your OEM product to life whetheryou need thousands or millions of load cells annually.Although the standard model is ideal for a wide range ofapplications, our dedicated design team at our Load CellEngineering Center is ready to provide you with customdesigns for your OEM applications.Please refer to models FS20 and FC22 for lower forceapplications.
