The aluminum load cell model 1040 is a single-point load cell designed for direct mounting of low cost weighing platforms. Its small physical size, combined with its high accuracy and low cost, makes the 1040 load cell suitable for grocery scales, bench and counting scales. OIML R60 and NTEP approved. Standard IP65 protection with an IP67 version available. An optional special humidity resistant protective coating is available which ensures long-term reliability. For hazardous environments the load cell is available in an EEx ia IIC T4 level approved version
