Ring-shaped Force Sensor X-142
For accurate measurement of large compressive forces
The very flat ring-shaped Force Transducer X-142 is ideal for use in confined spaces.
The compact and flat design of the Load Cell guarantees trouble-free use, even in special applications. The Load Cell has a large through hole in the centre.
Due to its highly sensitive diaphragm, the ring Load Cell enables precise force measurement in the force range from 5 kN to 50 kN.
The force is applied to the ring-shaped compression Force Sensor centrally from above.

Installation and use
Electrical connection
The Force Sensors from X-Sensors are based on a strain gauge full bridge with strain gauges. The output signal for this Sensor is specified in mV/V. Various input modules of control systems already allow the direct connection of force sensors with strain gauge full bridge.
In addition, measuring Amplifiers with voltage output (0-10 V) and current output (4-20 mA) are available, which amplify the strain gauge full bridges accordingly. The measuring Amplifiers are available in a robust field housing, for DIN rail mounting or in an inline housing.
Mechanical connection / design
The ring Force Transducers are characterised by a very flat and compact design. This allows the use of the compression force transducers under particularly low space conditions.
For mounting, the compression Load Cell has holes with which it can be easily attached.
Application areas for the ring Load Cell are high-precision monitoring of pressing operations in manufacturing processes, pressing and joining force monitoring. The strain gauge Force Sensor is particularly suitable for force measurement on spindles, e.g. spindle drives and press spindles.
