AMTI / SF3 Underwater IP68 Compact 6-Axis Force-Torque Sensor

As a waterproof version of the MC3A, the SF3 is built with expert precision to provide extremely accurate force and moment measurements even when submerged to depth. Manufactured from heat-treated stainless steel, this six-channel sensor is filled with mineral oil and features a pressure compensation bladder that reacts to higher and lower pressure environments to maintain zero pressure difference throughout submersion. The SF3 is rated for submersion in fresh water to depths of 70m for one continuous week.

SF3 Underwater IP68 Compact 6-Axis Force-Torque Sensor

This transducer has a compact, 3 in. cube body with threaded inserts on its top surface and through-holes on the bottom acting as convenient attachment points. It’s available in five different load capacities between 100 lbs and 2,000 lbs (see Specifications Tables). The SF3 measures with strain gage sensing elements and is equipped with a 19-pin Glenair connector for guaranteed protection throughout submersion.
