Platform – Load Cell H61N

The H61N is a single point load cell with a parallel-guided, central bending eye made of stainless steel. Its fully welded, hermetically sealed stainless-steel design makes this load cell ideal for use in harsh and wet environments, e.g. in the chemical or food industry.

The load cell is easy to clean and extremely robust. As standard, H61N load cells are tested and optimized for corner load sensitivity. This prevents measuring errors even when the platform is loaded only at one corner.

The H61N load cell is legal-for-trade (verifiable) according to accuracy class C3 up to 3000D. Optionally, this load cell is also available in accuracy class C4 with 4000D according to OIML R60. It is also available with increased accuracy (Y = 15,000). This higher Y value enables the design of dual-range scales.

The load cell is laser welded and meets the requirements of protection class IP68.

Applications

Scales in the food industry, stainless-steel scales, checkweighers in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as belt and dosing scales, packaging machines, and force measurement applications in the process industry.

Installation

The load introduction must not be on the cable connection side, as this may cause a force shunt.

Building a platform scale with this precision load cell is simple and straightforward. Two stainless-steel plates with dimensions up to 400 × 400 mm are mounted via the two mounting surfaces – at the top front/rear and at the bottom at the cable outlet.
