Standard models are available over a wide range from 100 N to 150 kN. The MK is used for measuring compressive forces. A full-bridge using strain‑gauge technology provides excellent long-term stability and ensures high performance in applications requiring more than one million load cycles.

The unit is made of stainless steel, and the circuitry is protected from moisture by an epoxy-sealed cover.

The MK can be supplied with standard cable configurations and industry‑standard connectors. As a smart transducer, the MK optionally offers TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) functionality, which is very useful for system integration and management; this feature uses an onboard memory chip to store manufacturing and calibration data.

It is compatible with a variety of electronic devices, modules, and accessories.
