JRS1 Miniature S-Type Universal Load Cell

Load Cell Central’s JRS1 is a miniature S-Type load cell.  Its compact size — making it ideal for applications where space is limited — combined with its available nine different low capacities, from ½ pound to 112 pounds (2.5-500 Newtons), opens up a world of possible applications in which it may previously have been much more difficult or costly to implement strain gage load cells.  The JRS1 works equally well in either tension or compression (“universal” design).  A threaded (M3 or M4 depending on capacity) mounting hole on each end simplifies installation.
