Weighing module WMS1
PRECISION + SAFETY
The WMS1 weighing module, consisting of a stainless steel double shear beam load cell with a high degree of protection (IP 68) and a very robust installation kit with head and base plate, has been specially developed for the precise weighing of medium to large silos and containers as well as for use in truck scales indoors and outdoors.The very robust design allows a very safe and at the same time simple installation under the container feet, even in problematic environments. Lifting forces and lateral forces are reliably absorbed by the integrated lift-off protection and the lateral stops.
The freely oscillating head plate aligns itself and enables very good measuring results of <0.05% F.S..
Negative influences caused by temperature expansion, agitators, beaters etc. are also easily absorbed by the weighing module. Due to the special geometry of the load cell and the force application, restoring forces develop in the module when the system is forced to move from the “optimum position”, e.g. due to the above-mentioned influences, which result in the system always moving back to the initial position by itself and thus being optimally aligned.
