Description

KV series gauges are bonded to areas of a structure or material where cracks exist or are expected to occur. They measure both the propagation length and rate of cracks.
Unlike conventional strain gauges, the grid of a KV series gauge is intentionally designed to be severed by crack formation, causing a change in resistance.
