Shear beam force transducers or load cells are a common standard in industry. They are used to measure compressive forces or loads, especially in weighing applications in the medium load range. Usually, the forces or loads are introduced via accessories such as machine support feet, thrust pieces or rod end bearings (for tensile loads). The stainless steel design of the SSTW load cell combined with the very high protection class IP68/69k makes it suitable even for difficult and challenging environmental conditions.
