FC22 Compression Load Cell
The FC22 is a medium compression force sensorthat creates new markets previously unrealizable due tocost and performance constraints. The FC22 offersnormalized zero and span for interchangeability and isthermally compensated for changes in zero and span withrespect to temperature.The FC22 incorporates MEAS’ proprietaryMicrofused technology which employs micromachinedsilicon piezoresistive strain gages fused with hightemperature glass to a high performance stainless steelsubstrate. Microfused technology eliminates age-sensitiveorganic epoxies used in traditional load cell designsproviding excellent long term span and zero stability. TheFC22 measures direct force and is therefore not subject tolead-die fatigue failure common with competitive designswhich use a pressure capsule embedded within a siliconegel-filled cavity. Operating at very low strains, Microfusedtechnology provides an essentially unlimited cycle lifeexpectancy, superior resolution, and high over-rangecapabilities.Cost-optimization of the FC22 brings your OEM productto life whether you need thousands or millions of load cellsannually.
