OCTOGON / Tension (compression) load cells L-CTL

Tension (compression) load cells L-CTL made of stainless steel were specially designed for measuring tension and compression and have protection class IP68 (protection against ingress of dust, strong splashes of water or submersion). The spring body of the S-type C3 IP68 load cell is located in the middle beam of the S-shape. This is a piece of metal made of stainless steel that deforms under pressure and returns to its original shape when the pressure is removed. This deformation process is measured with a strain gauge (DMS) and converted into an electrical signal. The spring body is deformed by tension or compression at both ends. The S-type C3 IP 68 stainless steel load cell can be calibrated in weight or force units.

The L-CTL load cells can be equipped with an IP69-K marking and are therefore among the most robust load cells in our catalog. This high level of reliability together with the very low combined error make them an excellent choice for your industrial measurement technology needs. We also offer a wide range of nominal loads. This means that the cell can be precisely tailored to the required load range and the most accurate measurement result possible can be guaranteed.

High reliability

The L-CTL measuring cell can be equipped with two redundant strain gauge bridges with two output cables to provide a double safety system.
