The multi-component measuring platforms of the MPF series are designed for precision multi-component measuring of forces and moments in the three axes (x, y, z). Measuring platforms are distributed multi-axis sensors: The MPF series comprises several single, high-precision force transducers, which are carefully aligned and mechanically decoupled from each other. This ensures multi-component measurements of maximum precision. The resulting insensitivity to interference makes it possible to use MPF series measuring platforms for extremely demanding tasks. Every MPF measuring platform is custom manufactured in accordance with your requirements and measuring tasks. Our highly competent team of developers will provide support to help you achieve a fast and flexible design. On the basis of the Engineered-to-Order principle we jointly develop the perfect measuring platform for you.

The number of force transducers is based on the requirements of the application. Generally, six, seven or eight single force transducers are used. The design of a multi-axis measuring platform is based on the structural connection dimensions and the expected forces.

GTM gives you everything from a single source – from multi-axis measuring platforms to strain gauge-based measuring amplifiers. MPF series multi-axis measuring platforms are typically used in applications requiring very different sensitivities and accuracies in different directions. This is the case in wind tunnels and rolling resistance test benches, for example. The distributed design consisting of separate force transducers makes the measuring platforms of the MPF series ideal for use as a reference standard in multi-component test benches.
