Loadstar Sensors RSB5 Subminiature Load Cell

The RSB5 subminiature load cells have good accuracy and stability for use in compression. They are available in 10 lb, 50 lb, and 100 lb capacities, with diameters less than 10 mm and height as low as the 3.5 mm.
 
The RSB5 load cell is equivalent to the Honeywell Model 13 sub-miniature load cell as well as the Wika model F1222 load cell. These subminiature load cells can be used in applications where space is limited. For example, RSB5 load cells can be used to measure the clamping force applied when attaching to the heat sink to the microprocessor.

  • Capacities
    RSB5 subminiature load cells are available in 10 lb, 50 lb, and 100 lb capacities. See REB5 for other smaller size load cells and RSB2 & RSB1 for higher capacities. 

  • Calibration Mode
    Button load cells can be used only for Compression measurements. If you need to measure tensile forces then use RSB3, RAS1, RAL1 load cells.

  • Accuracy Class & Compensated Temperature Range
    +/- 0.5% of full scale from -10C to 40C

  • Construction and Use
    Built-in raised surface (button) for applying compressive loads. 

  • UART/USB Output
    Use DI-100U with UART output to connect with Arduino or other microprocessors. Or use DI-100U/DI-1000U/DI-400U USB load cell interfaces to connect with PCs via USB.

    Wireless Output
    Wireless output via XBee (802.15.4) Industrial Strength wireless or WiFi or BLE for easy connectivity with PCs, Tablets and SmartPhones

    Analog Output
    Analog output via 0-5V DC or 4-20 mA output for easy input to DAQ or PLC
